But, the biggest attraction for mountain bikers is the seemingly endless miles of single track mountain bike trails that include options for the beginning mountain biker to the most hard core!  With names like Shake N' Bake,  Stormin Morman, Sage Fright and more!

I had no experience whatsoever in bicycle touring, no special bike (I used a $350.00 department store mountain bike) still I made the choice to do something without an understanding of the outcome. This uncertainty is what made the ride so special.

When I first saw this video, I could relate on so many levels. When I decided to do my ride, I approached my employer and told him what I was planning and that it would take me approximately 3 1/2 months to complete. I told him that I hoped that I has his support but was prepared to lose my job if that's what it came to. Though they couldn't pay me while I was gone, they supported me 100% including my job when I returned. Watch the video below then comment if you could do something like this.
