Over on our cycling art page you'll find some information about Michael and his incredible art. He travels the world to create his unique bicycle prints and posters. I love the humor he brings to cycling through his art!
This quote on Michael's website pretty much says it all! “My bike can take me anywhere, but my pen will take me everywhere.”

In 2017 when I made the decision to ride my bike across America, I had no idea how it would change my life. I had no experience whatsoever in bicycle touring, no special bike (I used a $350.00 department store mountain bike) still I made the choice to do something without an understanding of the outcome. This uncertainty is what made the ride so special.
If you want to read about my journey, please visit taketimeforlife.com. When I first saw this video, I could relate on so many levels. When I decided to do my ride, I approached my employer and told him what I was planning and that it would take me approximately 3 1/2 months to complete. I told him that I hoped that I has his support but was prepared to lose my job if that's what it came to. Though they couldn't pay me while I was gone, they supported me 100% including my job when I returned. Watch the video below then comment if you could do something like this. |
